A small village where all the traditional houses are recreated. Shown different plays and acts as such dances in that area. It portrays their culture.

Another historical and cultural place which shows the royal palace and their capital. It was then reconstructed ever since Japan strike on their area.

High peak tower that has panoramic view of Seoul. Besides, around the tower, they have recreations for people.

On the second day, we went to Gyeongbokgung Palace. I am fascinated by the history behind the Palace. It was first constructed in the 1394. It was subsequently destroyed and several areas of the Palace was destroyed by the Japanese when they invaded Seoul during the period of the World War 2. Currently there are projects being undertaken to restore the Palace to its former glory; expect 40% of the Palace to be completed restoration by now. We were shown around the Palace, from the various nobles' living quarters, such as Crown Prince, princesses, servants, and more.

We were also shown the Emperor's Throne room and his founding court room.

On the first day, we visited the Namsan Tower, aka, Seoul Tower. Upon travelling to the top of the tower, we were greeted with a breathtaking birds eye view of the scenery that were around us. Standing at a great height and at its top, it is rotated in a 360 degrees view. One can see the below landscape as well as the direction and the amount of distance that reflects the country a particular side of the tower is facing; a quite a fascinating attraction.

Namsam Tower

We went to the Namsam tower upon arriving in Korea. Due to its height of 487m above the sea level, we were able to see the entire Seoul city in it. The bird eye view from there was breath taking. Other than the observatory area on the top, there are also restaurants and shops that are within the tower itself, providing a one stop entertainment spot for tourists.

Gyeongbokgung Palace

Next we visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Before that, we were brought to the National Palace Museum of Korea to learn more about the culture and how daily life were carried out in the olden days in Korea. We gathered some basic knowledge on their daily life and moved on the palace. At the palace, we were shown to the King's chamber and the place where he had worked. The tour guide told us that most parts of the palace had been rebuilt due to it being destroyed by the Japanese.

Namsangol Hanok Village

This place houses the different kinds of traditional houses and buildings. Inside the village, we learned how the olden Korean families lives looked like. For example, to keep themselves warm, they would set up fire place under their hut. Their ancestor hall is another interesting place as the tour guide explained to us why the offerings were given on a daily basis and why it was decorated that way. Along with it they also had traditional Korean games for the tourist to try out.

Phy - Place of interest

This village has five restored traditional Korean houses and a pavilion, a pond and a time capsule, which make it a perfect spot to take a walk. These houses were rebuilt after the traditional houses of Joseon Dynasty and belong to those of various social classes, ranking from peasants to the king. The furniture in the house is situated to help guests understand the daily life of the past, and the clean, traditional houses. The first day when we arrived in Korea, we visited there but it was closed. We get another chance to experience their life on the third day.

N Seoul Tower is a tower located in Namsan Mountain, central Seoul, South Korea. Built in 1969, and opened to the public in 1980. Seoul Tower serves as an excellent landmark anywhere in Seoul you could see the tower. I know about this Nansam Tower when I watch a Korea variety show “We Got Married”, it was a famous tourist attraction and couple attraction, when I heard that we were going there I was super excited!

Gyeongbokgung Palace was first constructed in 1394 and reconstructed in 1867, it was the main and largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. The name of the palace, Gyeongbokgung, translates in English as "Palace Greatly Blessed by Heaven."
Heavily destroyed by the Japanese government in the early 20th century, the palace complex is slowly being restored to its original form prior the destruction. As of 2009, roughly 40 percent of the original number of palace buildings still stand or are being reconstructed. The place was very huge and we managed to walk around the whole of Gyeongbokgung in more than 1 hour. The interesting part is we get to see the Korean dressed what the Joseon Dynasty general was wearing; tourist gets to take photographs with them.

First we went to Namsan tower. Its is located at a hill area so we need to take bus through some high hill area and we walk to the tower its self where the road is as steep so the bus cannot travel directly. Its is a 360 degree full view when we are at the top of the tower, there is mirror locating which side is which country that you are facing.

After that we visited the Namsangol Hanok Village, we get to see how people live and play in the past without any technology.

Lastly we visited the Gyeongbokgung palace, the build there is huge and grand, its unbelievable and i think it as comparable as the forbidden city in china. Its a great historical place and a good chance to visit this place and know more about their culture

Day 4

Seoul Animation Centre - Interesting place with lots of characters in there. Great modified backgrounds and characters are well placed in the transparent box. Games and images of those animation are all in there. They also have cartoon library.





Hongik University - Quite a big area with number of facilities. Though there are quite similar to RP but their designs of the room are different. We were then brought to their art museum and followed by the classrooms.




Digital Media City - Many digital media technologies seemed to be updated in which some i had never seen before. Interesting and fun technologies. They want to be well-known for their technologies to enhance their business.
