First part of our trip was to K-Arts, which specializes in the arts and has 6 major schools. School of Music, Drama, Film TV & Multimedia, Dance, Visual Arts and Korean Traditional Arts. It is also the only university in Korea that offers Korean Traditional Arts studies.

Upon arriving, a professor from the university gave us a short introduction about the school. She also emphasized that the entry requirement is highly demanding and difficult and this shows me that the students in that school are not only interested in what they are doing, but also they are passionate and driven to learn as much as they can.

They are being taught through lectures, they have different rooms, like the broadcasting rooms, audio and video recording rooms and they each have their own workspace. Sometimes their workplace is like their home because they spend nights there in order to complete their project/work and during holidays, they come back to continue their work. This shows me that they are really passionate about their course of study.

The second part of the day, we visited Taewool Entertainment, which is a gaming development company. It specializes in martial arts game development and it takes a whopping 4 years to complete just 1 game. It is also possible to take more than 4 years. They have their different counterparts in different countries like Russia and Taiwan. They also have their very own program called the T3 Sandbox which their counterpart in Russia programmed for them. They use that program to design their maps, character etc. It is quite a tedious job because they take every single detail into consideration. Like the sun, and how it's lighting would affect the whole scene, or how you'd like the terrain to look like, high, low, rough or smooth, everything can be done in that program.

Because 1 game can take up to 4 years to complete, and it's not only done by 1 person, working together as a team is highly important in industries such as this.
